 World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. World Vision was founded in September 1950 by Dr. Bob Pierce, a Christian leader, in response to the needs of Korean War orphans. World Vision Dominican Republic was founded in 1989, contributing with integrated changes through transforming development. This is the process where the communities fight for a better life.
